Tictail - Add live chat to your Tictail shop, and increase sales!

By adding live chat to your Tictail shop, you can convert visitors into customers, and upsell customers to increase order sizes. Both of these help you grow your sales. With a few short steps, you'll have live chat up and running in your store. You can watch customers who visit your site, see what pages they're visiting, and what products they're looking at. You can talk to customers before they abandon a cart, or help them make buying decisions. 

Here's how:

  1. First of all, go to the "My Apps" tab in your Hipmob dashboard. If you don't have a Hipmob account, get one here. Select "Sample Code" and Select "Web"

  2. Next, in the pop-up window that appears, select the snippet (As shown below), and copy it to your clipboard:

  3. Go to the Tictail Dashboard, and select "Settings" (as shown below):

  4. Next, select "Edit Storefront Design" (as shown below). You'll be taken to a screen where you can edit HTML for your store.

  5. In your editing screen, select the HTML tag (as shown below). It should be in the top right of the screen, and will look like this: < / > :

  6. In the HTML Editor, scroll all the way to the bottom, and paste the Hipmob javascript snippet right above the closing </body> tag (as shown below). 
  7. Press save. The Hipmob chat tab should now appear in your Tictail shop!
